Posada Somavilla is located within a private construction, built between the years 1754 and 1769, made up of three buildings: Casona Principal (Main House), Caballerizas (Stables) and Casa de los Guardeses (Groundskeeper's House), integrated in a private estate with a spacious car park for as many as thirty vehicles and a bolera cántabra (Cantabrian bowls). The three buildings, with high stone walls between them and a porch, form a closed enclosure around a large internal patio (corralada).
In Posada Somavilla's Casona Principal, on the ground floor you will find the lounge with the library and the pilgrim's room (Camino de Santiago) which used for welcoming and accommodating guests as well as billing.
On the first and second floors of Posada Somavilla there are six double rooms, four of which have double beds, and two single rooms.
Posada Somavilla welcomes pets in the rooms with a terrace. In the Casa de los Guardeses of the Posada, which is entirely on the ground floor, there are three double rooms with a terrace, three triples and a quadruple room with a terrace.
The Caballerizas are equipped for providing catering services: cafeteria with a porch overlooking the Bay of Biscay and the restaurant's dining room.
